Massachusetts proudly serves those who served by providing Priority of Service to veterans in workforce programs.

What is veterans' Priority of Service

U.S. military veterans and other covered persons receive Priority of Service (POS) in all employment, training, and placement services in any workforce preparation program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Veterans receive access to services or resources provided sooner than others.

Covered persons include the spouse of a veteran who died of a service-connected disability, has a total service-connected disability, is missing in action, or is a prisoner of war.
